What exactly does a doula do?

A doula provides emotional, physical, and informational support to pregnant people before, during, and after childbirth. This includes comfort techniques, advocacy support, education, and helping you feel confident and supported throughout your pregnancy and postpartum journey.

Do you accept Medicaid / HUSKY?

Yes! I am a registered doula in the state of Connecticut and I accept Medicaid (HUSKY) for eligible services. Medicaid covers prenatal visits, labor support, and postpartum visits.

What services are included in your doula packages?

My packages include prenatal education, labor support, postpartum care, infant care guidance, light housekeeping, meal prep, emotional support, birth planning, breastfeeding assistance, and more depending on your chosen package.

When should I book a doula?

Most clients book around 12–20 weeks, but you can hire a doula at any point — even late in pregnancy. The sooner you book, the more support you receive.
